What To Pack

If a ski adventure is on your radar for later in 2023, here are 3 items you shouldn’t leave home without!

  • Warm and Layered Clothing: Park City’s winter weather can be cold and snowy, so it’s crucial to pack appropriate clothing to stay warm on the slopes. Start with a base layer of thermal or moisture-wicking fabric to keep you dry and insulated. Layer up with a mid-layer fleece or insulating jacket for added warmth. Don’t forget to pack waterproof and insulated ski pants and a waterproof jacket to protect you from the elements. Additionally, pack warm socks, gloves or mittens, a hat or beanie, and a neck gaiter or scarf to keep your extremities protected.
  • Ski Equipment and Gear: If you have your own ski equipment, make sure to pack it for your trip. This includes skis or snowboard, boots, bindings, and poles. If you don’t own equipment, you can consider renting them from local ski rental shops in Park City. Additionally, pack a helmet for safety and goggles to protect your eyes from wind, snow, and sun glare. It’s also advisable to bring sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin from the sun’s reflection off the snow.
  • Après-Ski Clothing and Accessories: After a day on the slopes, you’ll want comfortable clothing to relax and enjoy the après-ski scene in Park City. Pack casual and comfortable clothing, such as sweaters, jeans, and warm boots. You may also want to bring swimwear if your accommodations have a hot tub or pool. Don’t forget your favorite winter hat, sunglasses, and a small backpack or bag to carry essentials like water, snacks, and personal items.
